    Battered women’s shelters, Salvation Army, AA, YMCAs (especially their child care facilities), and homeless shelters or missions, Relay for Life (cancer research), March of Dimes, pretty much anything that Bono doesn’t participate in is cool with me.

    Check out your local soup kitchen, food pantry and women’s shelter. You will have to check your local Yellow Pages.

    go to On the left home page click into ‘charity reports’ It is a site that lists many charities and what is good is that they put in a pie shape the amount actually given to the charity vs the amount given for administrative fees. Good luck since there are so so many
